FUNNEL CAKES

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour

1 tsp. baking soda

3/4 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt

2 tbsp. sugar

1 egg, beaten

3/4 c. milk

Vegetable oil

Sifted powdered sugar

Mix first 7 ingredients in a bowl. Beat until smooth. Heat ¼ inch oil to 375 degrees. Pour ¼ cup batter into funnel. Hold over skillet to release into hot oil. Move in a slow circular motion. Fry each side for 1 minutes. Drain and dust with powdere sugar or cinnamon and sugar. Repeat.
