Ingredients
FUNNEL CAKE MIX
4 cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking powder (yes 3T plus 1t)
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
FOR EVERY 4 FUNNEL CAKES
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
vegetable oil
powdered sugar
Directions
FUNNEL CAKE MIX:.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl until well blended. Pour into wide-mouth 1 quart canning jar. Attach a tag with mixin and frying directions.
Mixing and Frying Directions: Put 1 inch oil in skillet. Heat over medium high heat to 360 degrees. Mix egg and milk together in small bowl. Stir in 1 cup Funnel cake mix. Beat until smooth. Pour ΒΌ cup batter into funnel, while holding finger at opening. Pour batter from funnel into hot oil, moving in a circle to form spiral shapes. Fry each side till golden brown. Remove and drain. Sprinkle powdered sugar over top.
