DUTCH FUNNEL CAKES

1 egg

2/3 c. milk

1 1/3 c. sifted flour

1 tsp. baking soda

2 tbsp. sugar

1/4 tsp. salt

3/4 tsp. baking powder

Beat together egg and milk. Mix flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Add the egg and milk. Beat till smooth. Pour some batter into the funnel. Heat oil to 375 degrees. Swirl batter into circles. Fry each side till golden brown. Drain. Dust with powdered sugar.
